House League:

An introduction to gate training and ski racing in a non competitive, fun team format. Emphasis on skill development for GS & Slalom techniques and developing coordination, awareness, agility and balance. No travel required! No team uniform.

Ages: 6 to 14

Dates: Sundays beginning Jan 7th, 2018 to Feb 25th, 2018
Times: 9:30am to 11:30am
Cost: $600.00* (plus applicable taxes)

Skyloft Competitive Racing:

U10 Ages 6-9 - U10 is an entry level race program for ages 6-9 with an emphasis on participation rather than competition. Teamwork and a social atmosphere are as important as technical skills (stance and balance, pivoting, edging, rhythm), introducing tactical skills (turn shape, speed) and developing racing skills. Athletes train in a variety of alpine disciplines including: giant slalom (GS), slalom (SL), paneled slalom (PS), stubbie slalom (stubbie) and kombi (KOM). U10 Racers participate in 2-3 events which may require travel. Attending these events is optional.

U12 Ages 10-11 - U12 Division is a traveling competitive race program. Racers compete as a team and as individuals to help promote fun, teamwork and a competitive atmosphere. The program's objectives include developing technical skills (stance and balance, steering, pivoting, edging, rhythm), introducing tactical skills (turn shape, line in course) and developing racing skills. Athletes’ train and race in a variety of alpine disciplines including: giant slalom (GS), slalom (SL), paneled slalom (PS), stubbie slalom (stubbie) and kombi (KOM).

U14 Ages 12-13 - U14 Division is a traveling competitive race program. The objectives of the program include the consolidation and refinement of technical skills, the development of tactical skills and to have fun! U14 racers participate in 4-5 events.

U16 Ages 14-15 - U16 Division is a traveling competitive race program. Racers continue to compete as a group, but scoring is individual. The objectives of the program include the consolidation and refinement of technical skills, the development of tactical skills and to have fun. U16 racers participate in 4-5 events.

U18 Ages 17-17 - U18 Division is a traveling competitive race program for athletes aged 16 and 17 years. Racers continue to compete as a group, but scoring is individual. The objectives of the program include the consolidation and refinement of technical skills, the consolidation of tactical skills and strategies. U16 racers participate in 4-5 events.

Skyloft Program Cost $950.00 per child (All payments are final and non- refundable and do not include HST)

Please Note:

* Saturday's and Sunday's starting Jan 6th, 2018; Helmets (closed eared) are mandatory; Times are 9:30am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 2:30pm
* AOS fees are paid directly to Alpine Ontario approx. $70.00 to $267.50 ( depending upon the age)
* Competitive teams includes rental of a Skyloft Red Racing Jacket for the season ( must be returned or penalties apply)
* Lift tickets are extra; Prices subject to change without notice;
